Carey956, I wish I could help you, but I have never pulled a 5ver. If no one replies maybe you should send Greenenvy1 a PM. Greenevey1 has a post called “Commercial RV Hauling” He is using a 1 ton truck, but he has a lot of miles under his belt, and might have hauled one of these.

After quite a few TTs finally got a 5th wheel. I didn't want to get a new pickup! The Jayco Eagle HT 27.5BHS comes in at 7,250 with some accessories. Cargo is about 2,700, so total is 9,950. Hitch, weight in bed, loaded for trip could be 1,500 plus. That's 3 quarters of a ton, not including the people and gear in the truck. Yup some truck and RV dealers will say OK - crew cab 5 people, about 700 - 900, gear in bed 200 - ??, there's a half ton.
Bottom line - make sure your suspension and truck is rated for at least 1.5 tons.
Bought it for the full size queen bed and BUNK HOUSE for grandchildren. Really loving the trailer! Great for fall camping.

2011 Ford F150 ECO-BOST long bed heavy duty suspension, 3,250 load capacity, 11,200 towing.

oh ya i have looked into that, only 3 of us and the wife and kid are small, i believe my year of truck can do up to 2000 lbs payload, i have also added extra leaf springs gears at 4.56 from 3.55 and a bully dog programmer so i know she can handle it for a year till i get a 3/4 ton, but i wont be towing my boat as well till i get my 3/4+ ton

our interest in it is that is has a similar floor plan to our 26bh with a slide out, and it has a hitch for when i upgrade my tv i can bring my boat
and for my wife the bathroom being the way it is in the 26bh its a pain for her so we like how the bathroom is set up on the 27.5

We have the HT 26.5 RLS, so not exactly the same, but somewhat similar in weight and front of the FW. After 18 years in a Jayco Eagle 215SD, love the ability to stand up in the bedroom and the bathroom is pretty spacious for a 30' FW. Shower is nice and big, even for me, and has a skylight over the shower for taller persons. Plenty of storage with the slide out wardrobe. We tow ours with a 3/4 ton GMC D/A combo crew cab and had a hitch put on the rear so we could tow our boat to the lake with us. Had the hitch put on by a professional welder, took him about 3 1/2 hours to reinforce the frame beams and fabricate the hitch, but he did a great job. Putting the boat on the rear of the FW reduces the hitch weight a bit but I have no idea by how much.
