Anyone own the 357MDOK?

Hi.
First post. I am wondering if there are any owners of the 357mdok? That has picked up their new 5ver. As my sig says I just bought mine and have to wait until May 10 to pick mine up.

If anyone does, how did the PDI go and have you camped yet?

I came very close to buying that one. I ended up going a bit more fancy and for a Northpoint 377RLBH. I’m currently enjoying it as I type. Good luck!

The 377RLBH seems to be real popular around here. My wife wanted the 355MBQS, which seems more like yours. I really wanted the outdoor kitchen and she “compromised” to the 357mdok for me.

How did your PDI go, find or have any issue with yours?

Thank you very much. Left Jayco for a few years and now I am back. Lets see how fifth wheel life is.

The PDI went well overall. The few things I found were some cabinets needing adjustment, leaking shower faucet and a peeling front decal. Aside from that, the initial shake down went well.

It is a brand new model made for 19. We were always looking at the 355MBQS but it lacked my outdoor kitchen. While looking for midbunks last year I saw this floorplan on their website. Liked it right away, Jaycos quality just “looked” better when we walked in. So I wanted the Jayco 355MBQS is an outdoor kitchen. Voila.
Cannot wait to get it. It is so new that it appears mine will be one of the first.

Welcome. We are also new fifth wheel owners. Picked ours up two weeks ago, 2019 355mbqs. Took about eight weeks from order to delivery. PDI went well, knowledgeable tech; however, got some bad info on landing gear during hitchup, and lack of info regarding Ground Control 3.0 six point leveling system. The EZ Breeze bathroom vent is what they're putting in the new Jaycos rolling off the line and the dealership didn't know that. It had a touchy on/off switch they had to work on. Not sure it's fixed. Tech actually left it open at PDI. After dropping off in storage with storm coming, I called dealer to ask if they had closed it, they said yes. After the storm, I went and checked, they had left it open but did not leak one drop. Like this vent, lol. Taking it out this weekend for maiden voyage. So far, so good.

Thanks,
I know mine has the Ground Control 3.0 so this info is helpful. Read your other post about it.
To be honest, I did not even look at the bathroom vent, assumed it would be a Maxxair. Lets see what they put in, looked at the Eez breeze and other than possible noise issue it actually looks better.

The dealership didn't know what kind of vent it was. I had to call Jayco. I actually had to return the MaxxAir II cover I ordered cuz it wasn't needed and wouldn't fit anyway. Not screwing into the roof just to cover the vent.

Thanks. If I am not mistaken, you are on your maiden voyage now right?
How is it going? Big difference compared to your other RV?

Yes sir, we have been anxious to start our camping season.
Now that we have a new 5ver, just adds to the “new” experience.
First diesel and 5th wheel so I am both excited and nervious.

So far so good, about the middle way through our weekend trip. I didn't understand why the a/c wasn't shutting off last night. I failed to put it on a/c low cool "auto". Had it on low cool all night. Fireplace works well, lol. Yes, much more room, especially with the king bed. Bunkroom not being used this trip, nice room for storage. We looked at a lot of 5th wheels before we purchased. Glad we were diligent on the search.

I remember my first camping trip I had friends with us. The manual thermostat had to be switched to heat but the detent was so hard I was worried I would break it. It was a hybrid and my friends from Puerto Rico were freezing all night. In the morning I took the cover off and pried the switch over. Instant heat and comfort for them. Hahaha.
They still make fun of me for it.
