I have a 27.5 foot 5th wheel Eagle series. Just how exactly does this work. Heat ducts blow in enclosed area? Heat blankets under water tanks??
Looking to stay on a mountain in Colorado till Oct 1. Last year a guy said it got to 13 degrees for 2 nights and he panics and winterized!!
Can anyone give me an explanation , thanks in advance, Dana

There is a heat duct in lower storage area but my tanks are non heated. I have a 2016 27.5 RLTS. I recomend a small space heater in the storage area if you have a power source. Pull in your water hose when it gets below 32 degrees but fill your fresh tank first. You heater runs on propane but you need a power source (battery) to run. I hope you have a good battery and a way to keep it toped off like a solar panel system.

They are heated with forced furnace air only. I was able to get the pads added to mine when ordered. Had to justify it on a 3 way conference call with Dealer and Jayco. Explained to them with a 50amp service I run on electric as much as possible and that means frozen tanks.
