Atwood furnace filter in Jayco Pinnacle

If there is a filter on the Atwood furnace in our coach I cant find it. Is the air return located in the bedroom stair steps? Any ideas on materials to use to fabricate a filter. My wife has asthma and we would like to keep the air cleaner when operating the furnace.

None of the trailer that I have owned have a filter for the furnace. Could be wrong but just my observation.

I am just wondering why Jayco doesn't install a filter at the cold air return?

My guess is that an air filter inline with the furnace would eventually restrict the air flow and cause related furnace problems.

How about something like this: http://www.dometic.com/enus/Americas...Air-Purifiers/
