Atwood furnace issue

So our furnace won’t fire. Specifically the blower will run but we have no ignition. I’ve read about a reset button but we couldn’t find one. If anyone has troubleshooting suggestions they are appreciated. Thank you

First I would check the LP gas tanks to make sure they have gas and are open.

Then I would run the gas range to prove to myself that the gas is turned on and working.

Then I would try the furnace again. If still no light, I would take in for warranty repair.

Tanks are full. Range working normally. Thanks though for input.

The reset switch on my Atwood was on top of the furnace housing. I had to remove my sofa and the covering around the furnace to get to it.

The reset is a glorified on/off/breaker switch....if it trips then you would have no blower.
I read in the manual about pulling the fuse (or just killing the coach power) for a “reset”

Well Klassic you saved me some time as my blower does operate. We’re leaving Bradenton tomorrow morning heading to Gulf Shores AL. There is an Atwood authorized mobile service 10 miles from our campground so I think I’ll be giving them a call. Thanks all for your input.[emoji106]

Now I’m perplexed. I have scheduled an Atwood tech for next week, but just for giggles I tried the furnace this morning and it fired right up. We traveled almost 500 miles in the last two days and I’m thinking that perhaps I had some type of blockage in the burner orifice that dislodged during travel. I’ll try it a few more times before I cancel my tech.

I had a dead moth in the igniter orifice at my house years ago. Had that moth died in any of the other orifices, I probably would have never known. That service call cost me about $80.

reset switch

Here is my experience with the reset switch:

Furnace fan would blow but no ignition, then all would shut off. Found reset switch on top of furnace. flipped switch and all was fine.......for four days. Then problem occurred again. same fix but only lasted two days. Flipped reset switch again but now only would last about 10 minutes. Repeat repeat.
Called Atwood and got them to authorize a local mobile RV repair shop to come out. He investigated problem, called Atwood and had a new switch sent out. Took 10 minutes to replace and all is fine so far. This happened December 2017. Atwood told the service tech once the switch starts popping it needs to be replace because it becomes too weak to stay set.

Just my input.
