Atwood Water Heater Issue

I have a 2018 Jayco Eagle HT 28.5 RSTS. Used this weekend for the first time and only had hot water in the bathroom..... but none in kitchen sink island. I have checked all I can find in manual. What am I missing.help please!

Are you getting water at all from the kitchen faucet on the hot water side?

Yes getting water but not hot...only lukewarm for about 10 seconds then back to cold.

Check the correct position of your water heater valves, them check of the outside shower valves are closed. Then check again at the kitchen valves.

I've heard the "check the outside shower" suggestion before. Just curious as to why would that make a difference? I've used my outside shower before and left both hot and cold knobs on (the hose sprayer prevents water from escaping) and it has not seemed to cause any issues inside.

Having both the outside faucets open can let the cold water bleed to the hot water side (and dilute the temperature). Depending on where that happens in your schematic, that could explain why it is hot in one room and not the other.
