Smile awning

I would like to put an awning on the sideout, has anyone done this before what are the pros and cons. This would give me lots of covered area, alone with the other awning.
thanks

Are you talking about an awning that covers the slideout, one that covers the slideout and overhangs on the front and sides, or one the attaches the broad side of the slideout to shade the wall and windows?

No, I have awning on all the sides out, I am talking about a full size awning like the one over the door entrance.
thanks

I have thought about using a full size awning over a slide instead of the regular slide topper so it could be pulled in during high winds without having to pull in the slide.

I have a friend with an Arctic Fox. The bedroom closet is on the door side of the trailer and if the closet is extended out they cannot put the slide up or take it down without running the closet in. The roller hits it.

My personal opinion I wouldn't mount one on the top of the slide. Slides have enough troubles without adding another factor.
