Awning Adjustment

When I fully extend my awning it seems like the roller goes about a quarter turn too far and rolls up the sun flap. Is there a way to adjust the roller to be at the proper position when fully open?


Also, when it is fully retracted one of the arms comes to within about 3/4" to 1" from seating properly, compared to the other arm and the arms on the other awning. Are both issues caused by the same problem? What do I need to do to get the arm to seat properly?

Mines rolls all the way out and never stops and will roll up backwards. I just stop it when flap is hanging down. Been that way since new. One arm next to door will not close correctly unless I pull it toward the door when closing. Be careful not to get fingers in it when it closes.

Try lubing all the joints on your awning arms and see if that helps as the joints may be tight or binding. Lube can help smooth things out.

I had one arm that would not close al ln the way and the dealer adjusted the awing fabric where it attached to the trailer. Not sure if that will help you, but that is what fixed mine.
