Awning falling apart

I have a 2017 377rlbh that the awning keeps stripping the screws out where the motor housing attaches to the awning tube I guess you would say. I’ve drilled in screws in different spots to get em back right. But now they are doing the same. And one had this issue and know a better way to sail with it. I’ll try to get a picture.

I ended up using rivnuts and adding 2 extra per side. So now the ends are held on by 4 10-24 stainless screws. Hopefully that will hold. Couldn’t equally space then because of the way the original screws were oriented I just had to squeeze the extras in there where I could get them

Had the same issue with my 2017 377 as well. The screws were also replaced with rivets and I noticed the end caps to the roller do not sit very well on the tube. Now after a year or so with the rivets, I am starting to see the whole where the rivets are stretching out. Not sure how much longer it is going to hold up.
