Awning light strip

Can anyone tell me if the new awnings still have the led light strip stitched to the awning material or have they gone with a side wall mounted light strip? Our light strip has never been straight and has gotten worse over time. It looks like an S pattern from one end to the other. Not a big deal and the Jayco is willing to replace it under warranty, but if they're still stitched on then it will only do again over time.

Awning LED’s on Our 2019 Pinnacle are all twisted and scheduled to be replaced next month. Hoping something has been reengineered but, planning for the likelihood that I’ll buy aftermarket LED strips and channel that i can correctly mount.

I just had both my awnings replaced last week because of the LED problem. All covered under warranty. They use your existing arms and replace the tube and fabric. It looks great!!
