One side of my awning was sort of jerky going up or down and noisy and I thought the rollers weren't rotating. Sprayed with silicone but that didn't resolve my issue.
My problem was one strut was somewhat weak and wasn't pushing the rollers firmly into the track. Replacing the strut solved the problem.
