I'm partial to Carefree awnings...............wouldn't begin to know how to install one..........some things I leave up to the people that do it day in and day out.

I am not sure what brand but I have replaced a 10 footer. I believe that yours is a lot longer, therefore heavier and more unwieldy.

If you are replacing the whole system it is more difficult. So I think you will need at least three people with step ladders and strength. Two to hold it as you take the old one off and lift the new one on.

If it is just the fabric I would look at some youtubes. I searched "how to replace an rv awning" and found several.

Check out Tough Top Awnings. They have many Youtube videos on there web site that show how to replace awning fabric. I just got a replacement for my slide topper that got "hailed" in PA a couple of weeks ago.

I’ve bought a replacement fabric for one of the toppers (Carefree) from Tough Tops. The quality seems good but it holds onto grime more than the original CareFree.
With help from my neighbor we installed it with no issues.

The awning on my '12 Eagle will have to be replaced as well. I've already replaced both the slide toppers and I think the main awning is at least a 2 man job. I haven't researched a replacement yet cause I should get 1 more season [this summer] out of it but I believe there's lots of options out there.
