It was posted as PUN. The OP was using boat terminology on a subject of trailers. It's like using trailer terminology on a subject of boats. Don't you think it would be humorous, to use this on a boat forum?

You know, Mike/Chipper, I definitely do have a sense of humor, but the tone of your posts came across to me as nitpicky and argumentative. I joined JOF to learn some things, perhaps help a few others from my experience, and to have a good time just chatting. I definitely do not want to argue. My response to the original thread used the same terminology (starboard and port) as the thread starter, just for continuity. I saw no need on your part to correct us, as that did not enhance the subject of the thread. If I misinterpreted your comments, then I'm sorry. But based on other previous posts from you on other subjects, it just seemed like you were trying to put both of us down, and ridicule our terminology unnecessarily.

At this point, let's just forget this happened, and both of us try to be a little more tolerant in the future. The other members of JOF deserve it.

Don't be sorry, Boozecamp. Wasn't your fault. Just a little misunderstanding took place between two of us. Over now. Let's get on with life, and keep on camping. Please do not hesitate to post more questions. Ahoy, yourself !
