Axle flip

Has anyone flipped, or raised the axle in their 5'er? Ours is scheduled for next week. We would like to be somewhat level if we ever have to pull into a Walmart for the night and not have to walk up hill to our bedroom. Does flipping/raising help? We are pretty slanted as it sits on the truck now. We have a 27.5 BHS.

Thanks!

When I asked Jayco about flipping the axles on our 27.5 BHS, they told me it couldn't be done. There are lift kits that might be a solution if yours is really far off.

This is just an EXAMPLE so I've no idea whether it would work for you but at least it gives you something to consider.

Our 2007 Eagle fiver has additional holes for changing the trailer height- We had the suspension bolts moved down to raise the fiver to a more level tow stance- Does your equipment have this capability? JMHO- DD

My fiver came with the axles under the springs. I would like to raise mine also but haven't looked into building a sub frame. I would like to raise it six inches. I don't know what people do with lifted trucks.

I guess they are going to raise it 4 inches by adding some bushings. Then hubby will raise it another 2 with the extra hole above the springs. I'll let you all know how this plays out.

Thanks!
