Can anyone explain what these numbers mean? The sticker on my 2020 336FBOK says the empty weight is 12049#, the tag on the Dexter axles says 6,000#. I'm assuming that is each axle, but the way I do the math that's 12,000# capacity on the axles. How can/do the manufacturer let this happen? Aren't I overloaded before I put my coffee cup inside? I look forward to the conversation on this.
Ok, thank you, I was actually starting to get worried that we had gotten some kind of Frankenstein unit. Lol, so my scaled pin weight is 2545, and that is subtracted from the GVWR? That is helpful.
It's called trying to save a buck. Let's not engineer a little overkill into something and put 7k axles in it. Anyway, they are all built this way, mine included, and I worried the same as you for a few minutes. Lol!

Not from the GVWR but from the 12,049 on the axles. So your axles are only carrying 9,504 when empty.
