Another Boomer here - middle of the pack. Camping gear has been in our closet, basement, garage or hooked to the back of our vehicles (motorcycles included) for 40 something years. Our grown kids are sometimes in the campsite near us or hoofing it up a mountain or around a lake on their own. This year we’ll begin sharing stories with them about Camping on the Texas Gulf coast.

The wife and I are both baby boomers (57 and 60 years old) and will be retiring as of 1/1/18. We pick up our 2018 Seneca 37 TS in the next couple of weeks and can't wait to hit the open road.

X2. We both just called it quits June 1. Hopefully at 64 will enjoy a bunch more to come. Been boating and camping my whole life. Did 10 years of Boat camping just about every weekend with my son. Spent my young years camping with my family all summer up in the Adirondacks. Missed this summer being up there due to new home base house delays. Cannot wait to start spending about half year traveling. Like others have said it gets in your blood and gets passed to the next generation

Baby Boomer also, still working to max out my SSI. 25+ years in a tent trailer. Last year we upgraded to a small travel trailer and are enjoying the extra amenities. Sadly the kids are cabin folks and also need to be near wi-fi as they are tethered to their cellphones.

Boomers - age 60 with another year-plus employment (plan to retire @ 62).

Been camping since we were married. Tented before kids, then pop-up, bunk house, Class A and now a 5th wheel the we intend to use extensively after retirement in 2019.
