Bars connecting left and right sides of frame

Our 2018 North Point 377RLBH has 2 bars connecting the front and rear sides of the frame together in front of and behind the leaf springs.

When googling I can find plenty of frames of trailers in the same weight class but none of them have these bars.

Are they simply extra support for the frame or is there some other purpose for them?

Thanks

Yep, so far Jayco trailers are the only ones I’ve found them on.

Pics please?

I'm considering welding in a piece between my front and rear spring hangers instead of bolting in a MORryde kit - same purpose, just not as easily removable.

Are they the same cross members that this fellow's referring to?

Mine have failed welds at 2 years. As an engineer I understand the purpose, but to me the implementation is poor. The spacer between the frame and bar weakens it.

One would think R and D would come into play, and not always on the end user. Thanks for posting it helps all of us.
