Bathroom vent replacement

Replaced the small bathroom vent fan in my 27.5 RTLS with a Maxxair. Love it and the only problem with the install was the roof was thicker than the sleeve that Maxxair sent with the unit. I had to do a little modification to the sleeve that was with the original fan unit. As the bathroom fan is the only ceiling vent in this model Jayco should have put a better fan in but........

I also replaced the bathroom fan with a Maxxair fan. Ordered a second sleeve and cut it down to get the height I needed to match with the fan (ceiling height is very high). Worked beautifully! Cannot see the seams anywhere.

I upgraded mine to a Maxxair Maxxfan Deluxe with built in cover. I had the dealer install it while they did warranty repairs. Looking forward to trying it out. The OE fan sucked big time. Extremely loud and moved no air. Fan fell off twice. Had to mess with the power button to get it to come on. Just pure junk. I also read on here the OE fan would crack and leak rain into the RV.

Interesting.....I have a Maxxair that I haven't installed yet in the bathroom of our 325BHQS. Wonder if I'll face the same issue with the inside panel?
