I only have two batteries and I haven't had any problems keeping them fully charged while I was travelling with my residential frig on. If you have a new truck, make sure the fuse is installed for the hot wire in the trailer plug. My last two trucks came with that fuse in the glove box.

I still would like four batteries for this frig for stops here and there.

Our unit came with 1 12V, that I promptly swapped out for 4 T105s. Had the fridge on battery only for a little over 10 hours today and still had plenty of juice when we got in

Sounds like a lot of dealers are only installing 1 battery. I had a bad dealer, but did get two batteries.

Bit the bullet and swapped out two Marine Master DP27's for two T105's.

My 2017 377 came with 2 but had extra cables included to install 4 more for a total of 6 batteries. I do have the residential fridge as well.

My Pinnacle came with 4 12v from the dealer. I have 3 150 watt solar panels as well. Seems to manage pretty well as long as I don't need the furnace. My next batteries will be 6v of some kind.

We got one battery with our 38fdds with residential fridge. There’s only a spot for one battery. I’ll never boondock, so it’s a non issue for me.

Our dealer only provided one with our Eagle TT and residential refrigerator. Charged us for a second one.

Our 2016 Eagle RSTS came with one deep cycle interstate 12V. Lasted 2 1/2 years just switched for two 6V 220 amp hour interstate batteries. Out dry camping for a week much better than 12V. Thanks

My dealer installed one 12v battery at the very high cost of $150 (several RV shops sell same model for $90. I stated that the manufacture for my residential suggest two (minimum), their response was we will install more upon buyers request. So much for charging $800 in prep fees.

I do Travel often and found one (new) 12v battery would last about 4-5 hours on the inverter. Then a low battery alarm would greet me when opening the door. I installed another same type 12v battery and as I only travel 5-6hrs I have yet to receive the greeting alarm.

Per our dealer, because of the residential they install 2 batteries. Since then we found that 2 are not enough & have installed additional batteries.

You didn't do so bad. Picked up our 2018 North Point with residential fridge and the dealer said it only comes with one 12v battery. Told him "not for this guy"! They charged me $183.00 for an additional battery! Was told that 6v deep cycle were much better. We'll see how these two 12v perform. I must add that we never boon dock! Also my RAM has dual 220 AMP alternators which keep those batteries topped off while going down the road.

My eagle 322RLOK came with one battery they bumped up the size from a “Normal Class 24 to a Class 27”, This was from Buffalo RV/RV Direct.

I picked it up just 3 weeks ago.

I already had purchased 2 Battle Born Lithium Iron Phosphate 100 amp batteries and will be replacing the “Free” battery shortly

No batteries for us

We purchased a 2017 Northpoint 387rdfs. The dealer asked us if we wanted to purchase the convenience package and we declined. When we got there to pick it up there were no batteries installed. I questioned the dealer and he told us the batteries come with the convenience package. I went to batteries plus and got two 6 volt batteries that they installed for us. I thinks me got screwed!

I don’t think legally they can deliver a new trailer without working emergency brakes - and that requires a functioning battery.

If the battery dies during the trip no emergency brakes

I can tell you there’s 2 Phillips head screws on the bottom holding the fridge in place, at least on mine. After that it’s all on you to finagle it out of its hole!
