Battery box removal for new lithium's

I just bought lithium, and now need to figure out the best way to install them. Since I will be using the rig some in freezing temp's, I am considering removing the entire battery box that came with my 2015 unit, closing up the open floor, and building an insulated box with a tank heater to keep the lithium's warm so they will charge in freezing weather. Just wondering if anyone has done this, and if you have any pointers? I already have the converter ready to change out to charge lithium's. Just wondering how to close the original vented battery area and rebuild something to keep the new batteries warm in winter. Thanks

I would test run the lithiums in freezing weather and not just once first before making anything permanent. Cold weather is their downfall.

I use my Lithium’s in 20+ degree weather with them housed in factory battery location with no issues. I do wrap the battery’s in ‘battery blankets in cold weather. I haven’t been in colder than 20 degrees, but can tell you these blankets work at fine in these temps.
