Battery dying?

My slides have been going slower while hooked to shore power. Or not hooked to power. I am wondering if a dying battery or battery cell could cause this? And, if its possible for the "out of stroke" leveling error to keep happening for the same reason. I don't know how old the batteries are. Thanks

Slides are powered by 12 volts. When plugged in, the converter should be charging the battery and also should be able to supply enough power to the slide motor. Battery may indeed be bad pulling everything down. Put a voltmeter across the battery as you run the slide.

Slides require a fully charged battery and a boost from the converter.

If possible, the RV should be hooked up to 120-volt AC power so the converter

I am almost never hooked to shore power and my 3 slides have no problem going in and out. I do agree if your batteries are weak that will effect your slide movement as well as your jacks.
