Battery issues

I have a 2015 Jayco Eagle 29.5 FBDS, my battery keeps dying even though we are plugged up to a 50amp shore line at the camp ground. The battery has already been replaced. Where do I need to start? Thanks in advance.

Check the output on the converter. Do your lights work? If they are not working sounds like a bad converter. Have you checked the breaker for the converter to be sure it's powered up?

Lights are working, outlets work. Rear AC/Fan have stopped working. No breakers are tripped.

Besides Grumpy's questions, corrosion on the battery terminals, or in the junction box connections. Loose ground connections to the frame, and did the current battery ever go dead. At 6 years old, any of these causes can sneak up on you.

No corroded connections. Not sure where the ground attaches to the frame. The current battery did drain earlier this week, put a charger on it and the battery was fine until now.

You can test the battery charger in the converter to see if it's working properly. Unplug the shore power, and test the battery voltage with a digital volt/ohm meter. Fully charged at rest, with no load on it will be 13.6 volts. Plug in the shore power, and check the volts at the battery again, and it should be a maximum of 14.4 volts. If so, the charging side of the converter's working fine.

I'm no help on where the battery cable ground is located on your particular 5er. It could be anywhere on the framework, starting in the area of the battery box. Maybe someone else will stop in here, and help.

Buy a cheap battery load tester 20-30 bucks and load test your batts occasionally.
