Schwintek issues

On my previous TT had a Schwintek slide that worked ok 1 single time.
After that for 4 yesrs had to use emergency procedure to open/close the slide.
Did test with a new right side motor (from error code on the controler) and new cable with same issue.
Also purchased a new controler because original did not have the emergency button on pcb, LCI tech support said it was impossible that it can happend in the manufacturing process.

So long story short, last spring when I was at the dealer for picking up a new TT (no slides). The dealer tech inspecting the TT given in exchange tested the slide and saw the issue.

Then to my surprise mumbled, no big deal, often it is the connector between the motor and the cable that does not make a reliable connection and his solution is to cut the connectors and solder the wires.

You are correct. Our 2019/2020 has Slimrack on the large kitchen slide and Schwintek on the small bedroom slide.

We have a 2020 30.5 CKTS and the largest, heaviest slide of the 3 we have is the kitchen. Carries the double fridge, oven, stove top, microwave, pantry, television, and fireplace. The slide is a Schwintek. Our dealer and his #1 tech said that Schwintek slides were designed to carry very small and light loads—not the kitchen! And the tech hates all the Schwintek slides, no matter which slide they are on. But, that’s what Jayco used. We’ve already had it in once to get the motors back in sync and the slide lined up so it would go in. I was having to push with everything I’ve got to get it going. So far, no further problems since about three months ago.

So your Eagle still is using schwintec on kitchen slide. Maybe they are just using slimrack on NP and Pinnacles.

That would sure be possible. Ours has two Schwintek slides and one rack-and-pinion and have no idea why or who made it!

Interesting, I pray to the schwintec gods everytime I hit the kitchen slide button. And the sad part is my bedroom slide has a ton of storage under the bed. It is probably as heavy as my kitchen slide if packed full. What they have done is criminal just like the 3.0 landing gear. If a motor vehicle we would all be recalled.

Help for Schwintek slides

My 2018 Jayco Eagle HT has both the kitchen and bedroom Schwintek slides. The smaller bedroom slide has always worked good, but really the kitchen slide never has worked good. It was always coming out of sync and got to the point where you couldn't get it to go back into sync. In fact when it was still in warranty, we were out on a trip and the last day I had to help it close by pushing on the back end of the slide. The dealer says he had to readjust the slide and it did work pretty well for a little while, but on another trip it started binding up pretty bad again. I looked online for videos showing how to repair the beast and I stumbled on a Schwintek video on how to properly lubricate the slides. It listed a special lubricant they said you "have to use". I ordered the lubricant online and when it came, I lubricated the kitchen slide first. It worked and sounded better than ever. We went on a trip and it worked flawlessly.

I'm not saying you don't have physical problems with yours, but you may want to give this a try.
