Bedroom TV Question

We are new owners of an 07 Eagle 341RLQS and are soon to hit the road for a trip of 1500 + or - miles- I wonder if anyone has had the TV door open while in transit- I know Montana has a locking device on their door so is there a problem that needs to be addressed before we hit the road? If some sort of lock is out there, I sure want to add it to our coach- Your experience in this area is much needed- THANX in advance for all replies- Don

I am not sure this is the same type setup, but on my unit there is a gas strut that holds the door open at a 60 deg angle for viewing. While closed it also holds my door shut. This is on the door in the MBR above the drawers with a frame mount TV.

There is a roller catch also keeping the door closed. I have never had the door open yet. If it did there would not be an issue due the gas strut holding it in position.

On my 5th unit, at least 75,000 miles towing, never an issue.
