Best app for roads to take based on hight of our fifthwheel

I’m looking to get an app that will provide the routing of our tall fifth wheel.
Is there a free app? Is it better to pay for one?

I pay for RV Life - It is I believe $47 / year. Lot's of great features and in my opinion well worth it. Only negative is that as of now it doesn't integrate with Android Auto or apple Car Play...

I use the RV Life Trip Planner and RV Life GPS App. I love it because I can plan trips way in advance and then use their GPS App to recall the planned routes, plus the GPS App is CarPlay compatible and I can see it on the large display in my Ram truck.

I use a Garmin RV Series model that allows you to input all the information on your vehicles. Height, Weight, Length, etc... It's been beneficial in several situations with low bridges and weight restricted roads in the spring. I like the separate unit from my truck display but that's just personal preference. I've also used RV Trip Wizard and use that to plan my trips generally.

On a related note, do these apps or GPS units allow you to plan a trip that avoids highways? We are planning to take some longer trips out to the southwest, the midwest, northwest, maybe even northeast in retirement and I want to see the country, not interstates.

The Garmin allows you to set Avoidances for the following:
U-Turns
Highways
Tolls and Fees
Ferries
Carpool Lanes
Unpaved Roads

X4 on the RV Life system. It's made my trip planning so much easier I don't mind repeating it a couple times a year.

X2 on the Garmin, have had it route me around low bridges several times. Big fan (and user) of Google maps but it just doesn't offer the same features as the Garmin. We use RV trip wizard to plan out our trips, love the driving distance radius feature so we can see what campgrounds are within a preset distance from our previous stay.
