Best Fiberglass polish

Dear Fellow Members,
If this thread has been posted, I can't find my exact question. My 2015 Pinnacle looks really good. It doesn't have fade or decal fade. I am looking for the easiest and most long-lasting fiberglass polish to KEEP it looking good. I know of POLY-GLO and ZEP but wondered if anyone has better results. Thank you, in advance, for your responses.

Marine 31 makes a great polish. Popular by boat owners.

Search "Rejex". Specifically designed for aircraft, boats and other fun vehicles. Go to Rejex.com and read up.

I’ve heard lots of positive things about Rejex. I would also suggest you look at a cheap and easy alternative...Turtle Wax seal and shine or their ceramic spray wax. Both are very easy to apply and are very durable. Just search YouTube and you’ll see all the car detailers regard seal and shine as the king of the hill for its value and durability. I use it on my rig with great results

I also use Starbrite Premium Cleaner Wax (Walmart, marine section) to keep oxidation from taking-hold and/or building up....., especially the front cap.

I suggest you NOT use Zep. I tried it and it looked pretty good for a couple of months and when it stopped looking pretty good it looked really bad. Had to use their stripper to get it off.

Are you looking for a "polish" or a wax? Polish is a a very fine abrasive, and proper polish requires the right prep, tools, and pads.

Wax is a coating that's applied to preserve the surface that may already be shiny because it was recently molded or recently polished.

Then, there are products that combine the two into a polish/wax. They have their place, but...

I applied Nu-Finish five different times on a 06 we just traded and it still looked practically brand new. It was however stored inside year round.

Our Eagle HT was starting to fade pretty good on the front cap. I buffed it out and put a coat of Griots Ceramic Wax on it last August and it looks like the day I did it. Very happy with the results and how long it has lasted in the Arizona sun. A little goes a long way and it has a nice smell to it.

Not a polish, not really sure what it is, Meguiar's Paint Protect. I have used it a total of 2 times. 1st on my TV, about 2 years ago and it still beads up. That was the last time I washed it. It sits out side all summer. I drive it in the winter with all our road salt, in the spring the rain just washed it off.

I did the TT, about 1.5 years ago. 3 sides still bead up nicely. The south facing no longer beads up. The TT gets more sun than the TV.

It is thin as water, I must put it on to generously. About a week after I put it on both vehicles looked horrid, and I tried to be more careful with the TT. All the dust in the air just stuck to it. Gave them a quick wash, and they have been spotless ever since.

https://www.amazon.com/Meguiars-G365.../dp/B00P9OEZR6. I read on an Amazon review that it is discontinued, not sure if that is true or not.

I like it, just plan on a second quick wash a week or so later.

I use a product called "the Solution"
https://www.amazon.com/The-Solution-.../dp/B00ZPR79RA

It is advertised as a dry car wash but it leaves a "glass like" finish with very little work. It is not designed to remove oxidation. It is the best and easiest that I've found.

For cars and trailer, spring and fall, I use a sponge to wash with liquid car wash. Bugs and tar come off easily with used dryer sheets (great idea from this forum) and Turtle Wax bug and tar remover. I finish with carnauba wax followed by Turtle Wax Seal and Shine ceramic. Easy to do on vehicles and small trailer. Looks good, lasts long enough.

Mother’s Works GREAT

Hi All,

I used Mother’ ceramic coating at the beginning of last year on our TT and it has been super! Water beads up consistently and we’ve seen heavy weather on our travels. This year I am going to ‘treat’ our truck with a coating

I use Wizards Shine Master wax on mine once a year. I also use Wizards Mist and Shine on the front cap before I run it down the road. Makes the bugs come off SO much easier. I wax mine in the fall.just before putting the cover on it and in the spring it looks the same as when I put it away. Shine and water beading lasts all year. I wash mine after every use and by the time fall rolls around you can tell it's about time for another wax job. The shine master is also safe for decals.

This is a pic of the day I took the cover off, 4/15/2019. It's been under the cover all winter, about 5.5 months and was waxed in the fall of 2018. Itll shine and reflect like this for a majority of the season, but like I said, come fall you can tell it's about time for another cost of wax. Nothing lasts forever.

Another vote for Rejex

I have a 2009 Designer that I purchased new. Have used Rejex once a year. Bugs on the front cap come off very easy. Always getting comments about how new is your rig.

X2 on Mothers Ceramic Spray. I've used this on our vehicles for the last couple of years with great results. Used it our our gel/fiberglass trailer last August and water still beads off.

Rejex

x5 o 6, I lost count. Last summer a camper nearby said the shine was so bright it hurt his eyes. I guess that was an offhand compliment. One Rejex application, about 95% of the bottle last April did every square inch of the Seneca. I guess I'll do it again this spring, but still looks good after a summer season out in the sun.
