Best Pin Box?
Looking at aftermarket pin boxes. What's everyone running and why?
Is it even necessary to upgrade?
Stock uncompensated pin box on my 21 eagle 319MLOK.
Thanks!!!!

I'm extremely pleased with my Morryde pin box. No chucking at all when combined with my B&W Companion hitch.

I really like my Flexair 21k. Mine came with the MorRyde and I replaced with the Flexair. It provides a better ride at the hitch.

Do yourself a BIG favor and throw that factory pin box in the recycle bin!
I ran a Flexair with a B&W and it did help but they were fighting each other in the back and forth chucking department. It did help a lot in the up and down bounce.
I installed a B&W in my buddy's truck and his trailer came with a Trailair pin box. That is a pretty nice ride!
Another buddy and I also run B&W hitches and both of us have Moryde pinboxes. Mine is on a Northpoint and his is on a Eagle 30.5 and both ride pretty well. I dont get much for up and down bounce, but I have a 3500 dually. My buddy has a 2500 standard bed and his ain't too bad.
I've pulled his trailer with my truck before and I'll say his smaller trailer doesnt pull as good as my bigger one.

Like “Akru” I have a MorRyde and B&W and while I have no other experience but both seem very functional and deliver a pleasant tow experience.

I only wish Reese made a Goosebox that could replace my Revolution. Nothing in the bed of the truck, as soon as you pull away.

I guess I'm +3 for this setup.

X2. Working great over 10 years full time.
Should have read the entire thread before I responded.
I guess I'm X4 for this setup.

I changed to a Reese 5th Airborne for the following reasons:
I wanted an air cushioned pin box that did not add to my minor nose high condition. Both the Reese Airborne and MorRyde satisfied that requirement. But since I am using a PullRite auto-slider, I also wanted to have a capture plate that was easily removable to accommodate the vehicle used at the storage compound that does not have a sliding FW hitch. The MorRyde capture plate is not easily removable under that circumstance.

Does the MORyde change the pin location at all? Meaning does it move it from the location of the standard box? I funny want it to be any further to the rear.
Thank you.

Isn't part of the MorRyde defeated if you use the Andersen hitch? I thought the plate had to be locked out or something.

I went with a B&W Companion and a Reese Sidewinder king pin for my standard box. A slider hitch had too many moving parts for me. The Sidewinder solved my concerns and I don't have to worry about the fifth wheel hitting the pickup cab. Good luck with your choice.

Just sold my 2018 317RLOK, and purchased a 2021 Eagle HT 24RE. The HT came with a rotating pin box, which I don't need because I pull with a one ton dually with an 8 ft. bed. The 317 had a Morryde pin box that just can't be beat. I had to have the rotating box changed to the Morryde on the new one, with no regrets. Best on the market I believe
, and wouldn't run anything else.

Morryde here on a pullrite auto slider hitch... Its definitely better than a stock kingpin. Junk that stock kingpin... Get a morryde

You can purchase the MorRyde in a regular or extended pin.
