Bike Racks

Any suggestions on a hitch mounted bike rack for an Eagle HT fifth wheel. Would like to haul at least three bikes. Thanks.

Swagman Bike Rack- No regrets!

After conducting research and then considering the comments from members of this forum, we purchased the Swagman "Dispatch" model bicycle (2 bike) rack for our Jayco 36FBTS this past May. I have used the bike rack mounted on my 5th wheel trailer and also my truck (pic below).

Observations:
-This rack is not exactly cheap (retail $288.00) but I did not want a baseline unit.
-The unit is actually labeled "RV Approved" and feels and very much weights (54 lbs!) heavy duty. One able bodied person can mount the rack...but carefully.
-The bike rack hitch receiver pin is actually a threaded bolt that tightens and essentially locks the unit to your trailer's hitch- feels like it's welded to your hitch which is good over rough pavement.
-Very easy to mount bikes. There are adjustable frame lock hooks and tire cradles for each bike with strong wheel straps.
- The unit comes with a bike security lock cable that attaches to the hitch pin that has a key lock. At night, we store our bikes on the rack. I am a big guy so you do have to bend low and tight to operate the hitch pin key lock.
- I like that the unit extends back sufficiently for the bikes to mount easily clear of the roof ladder.

We have used the Swagman on two camping trips so far and could not be happier with the unit.

Bike Racks

Second season with the Swagman Trailhead 4 RV. Have had no issues and always have 3 bikes on it. Will hold up to 4 bikes.
