The black will be vented, I don't think that's it. I run my flush with the drain open and closed.

I would check where exactly the water dribbles out. Is it from the threads where the hose meets the plastic nut or from behind the connection? If it is from behind the connection it could have a crack on the plastic neck. If its from the threads its more likely a badly shaped hose end if it has a good washer.

Mine had a cracked neck when i bought it which they replaced on the city connection. Also had a broken check valve inside the trailer which had the wife screaming when i turned on the black tank flush for the first time. Thankfully she was right there and minimal water spillage.
