BMPro 1.9 slow to connect

We recently took delivery on a new 321RSTS, and love the BMPro system but for one thing. Getting the app on our phones to connect and stay connected is a nightmare. If I want to do something with the phone app, I have to open the app, try to do something, get the warning that I am not connected, go to Settings, and wait 30 seconds for that screen to do stuff and get paired. Then, it works great, but this hanging around for 30-45 seconds waiting for something to time out and pair is frustrating.

This also worries me for the TPMS system. How do I have confidence that the sensors are talking to my phone app and will alert me to problems if I have to fiddle with it and stare at the screen for so long to connect?

I tried restarting the tablet via the pinhole reset, and it still happens.

What is going on, is there a tip or trick to make this work faster? Hubby and I both have Android phones, and the control panel says it has BMPro 1.9.

My 2020 Talon does the same thing. Sometimes Bluetooth connects and app opens immediately, sometimes up to 30 to 40 seconds. I think because the controller is asleep?? I don't know....

Hmmm. I saw something on another thread with a BMPro doc on how to prevent the tablet from going into a deep sleep. Perhaps that is worth a shot, based on your comment about it sleeping.
