Brake linings

Just got done doing the MORyde wet bolt shackle upgrade on my Jayco 5th wheel. Everything went smooth, quite easy really and while I had it jacked up I repacked my wheel bearings and inspected the brakes. My brake linings had approx. 1/8 of pad left. I googled some new brake assembly's and upon zooming way in on the linings it didn't seem the new ones had much more than that. Has anyone changed their brakes and how thick were the linings new.
We had our previous Keystone 5th wheel 14 years without having to change the brakes or wheel bearings. Planning to travel this summer and don't want any issues while on the road. We have approx. 8000 miles on the 5th wheel. Thanks in advance for your input.

Yep, that’s how thick they are. Your truck does most of the work.

Thanks for the reply. I was concerned when I first saw them because I was use to my truck pads I replace that are a good 1/4 to 5/16 thick. All four looked about the same and all the drums looked good.
