Brakes

I would like to change the brakes on my 2008 36ft. RLS Designer 5TH. wheel. I want to change the complete assembly any ideas or suggestions.

Think about going to disc brakes. We changed ours to disc and what a difference it has made in stopping power. Check out Performance Trailer Braking website or google Titan Brakes. You can also buy the kits from e-trailer I believe.

The disc route is getting very popular.
My neighbor recently rebuilt his brakes (drum) and discovered it didn’t cost much more to buy a complete backing plate and brake assembly.

Complete brake assemblies are cheaper than buying parts. Especially if you buy online.
