You will need to back the controller down after you get several hundred miles on the unit. The new ones seem to have a fairly long break in/seating period.

I was underneath it the other day looking around and noticed that the Blue and White wires had been rubbing against the rubber on the tires and had stripped the insulation about 2". I taped it all up and tied it out of the way so I will see if that helped any.

Same thing happened on mine, I caught it during inspection though. I wonder if this is a general quality problem?
