Bug Removal
Just got done washing my RV but still have some bugs stuck on the decals on the front end. Would like some recommendations on which product has been successful for removal of these bugs without damaging the decals and also leaving a waxed finish. Thanks.

The youtube site Travels with Delaney says his favorite product for bug removal is Bug Off Pads

I use a microfiber bug pad, similar looking material to the wash pad found on the end of the wand at the gas stations you use to wash your windshield with while your vehicle is filling up. For the real stubborn stains or remains that it wont take off in normal washing, a claybar kit takes them off smooth as silk.
I'll claybar the front cap of my 5er a couple times a year, I'm a little anal. After the claybar session it gets a good coat of wax and it's ready for the next road beating. However, this next spring I have a factory rep from a high end cleaning and detailing product company that's going to come to my house and spend some time with me and put a ceramic coating on the front of it. He said the bugs will fall right off with a mere garden hose water pressure. This product system involves a little time and labor, but once it's on it works really well and holds up for quite a while with very little upkeep.

I use 3D Bug Remover I bought on Amazon. You get a gallon but dilute it with water so it lasts a long time. I mix it in a bug sprayer and spray it on my bug encrusted truck, car and/or fifth wheel. I let it sit for a minute or so and with my electric power washer most of the bugs come off my vehicles. What's left is easily scrubbed off. I don't use the power washer on the fifth wheel because of the decals but the bugs come off pretty easily with some light scrubbing with a mesh covered car wash sponge.

I accumulated enough bugs on the front cap of my TT during recent trip that I swore they added weight to my loaded tongue weight
Dawn soap has worked good for me under most conditions for bug clean-up.., but in some cases I had to use a 'cleaner wax' to remove some of the stubborn stains.

Bug Removal
Thanks for the replies. Since I'm kinda lazy I'll review the responses to determine which one will take the least amount of work and start with that one. Thanks again.

Timing!
I have found if you go after them after a rainy spell and / or early morning dew will soften them up and be easier to remove.

I do this on the front of my travel trailer and truck after a trip. Super easy, cheap, and effective.

I highly suggest a ceramic spray like this next time it's time for a "wax"

Works great. the only issue with using something like Dawn is, it strips away waxes. so yes, you removed the problem, but also took the barrier with it.

You linked to the surface prep product...a stripper. It's only 1/2 of the system that Mother's has for ceramic DIY.

Try a spray on product called "Bugs n All". Melts bugs away, yet not harmful to paint and does not remove wax! Also great on black streaks. I have had excellent results with this product. Available on Amazon or buy direct from their web site.

Soak microfiber towels in hot soapy water and cover the bugs for 10-15 minutes. They come right off.

Bug removal
I have been spraying Sprayway glass cleaner on the front of my vehicles and 5r for several years. The bugs come right off.
