Buying an Eagle 321RSTS

The wife and I went to look at the 321rsts last week and love everything about the 5th wheel, every one that have one how do you like it? We said that this one is going to be the one that we will keep for a long time.

The 5th wheel we have now the bedroom is just not big enough so we love the one that have the king.

2017 291rsts, we love it. No warranty issues at all, yet.

We have a 2019 321RSTS with the residential frig and we love it. Only a few minor issues that I corrected. I hope this does not jinx me! The quality of the FW is the best we have ever had and we have had an RV for 30 years. The only thing we did not like was the cheap exhaust fan in the bathroom. I replaced it with a max air power vent.

Lol, that was the only thing I replaced in ours also. Love the max air, just wish I got the remote control, the DW can’t reach the controls.

We really enjoy our 2018. Have had only monor issues (pounding like hell on the wood table next to me). Lots of room for two of us, get along fine when our two grandsons join us, and can host 8 friends for dinner inside when weather dictates, yet not so big that we have been restricted on available camp sites. Tows great behind 2500 Silverado/D-Max. Have seen nothing else we'd rather have.

We did get the max air fan with the remote for the bathroom as my wife could not reach the switch. Jayco needs to ask a person who is 5’4” at the factory to turn the fan on. Not going to happen. Why not put the switch on the wall?

We have a 2017 321 RSTS and love it. Tons of room and well built. Pulls great behind a 2012 Denali 2500. Great choice!

What kind of interior did you guys go with, I'm loving that modern farmhouse but I don't know if I can live with it for the next ten or so years?

We just went on our maiden trip a couple of weeks ago and loved it! I agree with the others and will soon change out the bathroom fan too. Only issue we had was at the end of our week long stay the kitchen slide would only move about 6”. Finally had the wife control the switch and I put some equal pressure from the outside to close it. Once we get over the flu will address and see what the problem is.
We tow with your same truck. The trip was 500 plus miles each way from So. Ca. To No. Ca. Up over the grapevine. Pulled and handled fantastic! Pullrite auto superglide. Averaged just over 12mpg and we maintained about 60mph on the interstate.
We have the farmhouse interior.

Enjoy.

Wow thank you Dryheat, this is very good to know and already I will be change the bathroom fan, so you tow your with the Ram 2500 Cummins? We just can't wait before we get it I told my wife that when we get it we are going to have to find a place to go.

We really love the floor plan and how roomy it is, it's just right for the two of us we find the farmhouse interior color down in OR that we might go look at. One of the slide that is on our 5th wheel now went down also but it's seem like a hit and miss because it's working now.

Your welcome Big1. Interesting on the interior. We went to the RV show in Pamona Ca in October. The first day there we stuck our head in the door saw the white interior and moved on. On the 2nd day for some reason went inside and as they say the rest is history. We placed our order that day. We fell in love with the farmhouse interior.

We went with the traditional for the same reason. Open range went with a white interior for 1 year and that was it. On thing nice about the tradional is you get the modern farm house white in the bathroom so it breaks it up nice. Our opinion is the traditional has a very nice high end look to the RV. What ever color you pick you will love it

For what it is worth, I pull my 321 with a 2015 GMC 2500 6.0 gas with no problems. Cruise at 68 and have to keep reminding myself I am towing. The Furion observation camera is a great option also. Makes it easy when changing lanes. Well worth the money. If you want slide out toppers, order them with the unit factory installed, it will be less than half the cost if you add them later.

We ordered the traditional interior. We really liked the farmhouse, but decided on traditional. Just personal choice. We will be taking delivery of a 2019 Ford F350 CC SB soon. Ordered the Morryde pinbox and will be getting the new Pullrite superglide made for the Ford puck system. We are looking forward to travelling the country soon!

Have you considered the 317RLOK? A family member of mine was set on the one you are looking at, but then looked at a 317RLOK. It’s basically the same, but the theater seats and tv are flipped and you get an outside kitchen. With this floor plan, you can view the tv while standing at the kitchen island sink.
