by-pass battery on shore power
I tried to search, but I am probably not using the correct terminology, so I'm sorry if this has been asked 100 times before.
I just picked up a very nice 2003 Eagle 311RLS that I will be taking to the campground where I have a permanent spot. This fifth wheel has seen it's last days on the road. I will park it at camp where she will spend the remained of her days.
Anyway, my question is, do I need to have a battery in the camper for my 12 volt lights / appliances to work?
I currently have a 1994 Jayco 325 and it has no battery and all of the 12 volt stuff just runs off of the Converter.
My "new to me" 311 has an Iota Converter / Charger.
Is it necessary to have the battery, or can I simply unhook it and everything will still work?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks form the new guy!
