Cable Tv

We have a 2021 Jayco eagle fifth wheel. We want to hook up to cable TV at the campground and I can’t figure out how to get the cable to come on the television I can find antenna channels but I cannot find any cable channels. Anybody have any advice?

Do you turn the amplifier off when connected to cable? Also it depends on what type cable the CG has since not all TV's can connect to the digital cable signal.

I did turn off the booster. On the tv it asked what the source is snd I selected cable from the wall. My brother-in-law is one site over. His is working fine. I am getting nothing. Maybe my coax is bad

Do you have cable and sat outside connections? Sometimes those get reversed during production.

Do you have to do a channel search on the TV?

I have to do a channel search on the set every time I set up in a new location.

I do not find any place listed for cable or sat input. I do find a cable Jack that is labeled sat / cable output, but it is the only place I can find to connect a cable. I assume it has to be the cable connection

That output is for hanging a tv outside.
Look in the area where you plug the electric into the camper. That is where I always found mine.
Mine have always had a round black/smoke cover you lift up.

This is exactly what I had thought, but if there is another cable connection outside I can not find it. I have searched every inch of the outside. I have searched the storage area, the electric hookup area, the jacks operation compartment even the water fill and control area. I wonder if maybe it was missed when my camper was built, but thank you for your response. Your solution may be correct and I am not o servant enough to find it

Mine is on the nautilus P3 water control panel. Coaxial connections. One is labeled satellite and the other is cable.

Looked everywhere, or so I thought, but above my class C door there is a cabinet and in there is a button to turn off the TV signal to allow the cable to turn on, think it turns green, cant remember but its just a button next to a 12 V socket. I never did get to use the cable cause it took me 3 days to find the button. I hooked the cable located in a storage outside next to my electric.

Only just discovered myself. You have to find the antenna booster that is green when on and push the button to turn it off for the cable hookup to work.

The button off and the green light off. Then on the TV go to the inputs and select cable, Then last but not least, have the tv search for channels. It will take a few minutes but you are now good to go

TV/coax connection

On my 5th, the power to the amplifier/antenna is below the tv, in the drawer on the right side. There is a green LED and a very small pushbutton, on the coax plate, made to blend-in and hide. This will disconnect the antenna and connect to the coax input, when the LED is OFF. When going back to the ANTENNA mode, make sure you "energize" the LED, which turns the antenna amplifier back on. .....for my 5th wheel, a 2019, 27.5 RLTS. The amplifier is built into the antenna on the roof.
