Camera wiring?

Just a question of how do I tell if my 5th wheel is rear camera wired. 2015 27.5 RLTS and if so where would the wires be?

As far as I know if it was wired for a rear observation camera there would be a mount of some type in the rear of the trailer where the camera would be expected to be mounted (center of the trailer near the roof line). A lot of trailers are prewired for a Furrion camera and have a black mounting bracket in that location. The actual wiring is under the bracket cover. You remove a few screws, take the cover off and the wiring with a connector for the camera should be there.

Earlier trailers do not have a mount as they used Voyager brand cameras. Recent trailers use Furrion which do have a mount. My 2017 was Voyager brand.
My 2017 the wiring was behind one of the clearance lights. Some units have power switches near the battery or in the docking station. Some do not have switches and get power when the running lights are on.

Email or call Jayco with your VIN and they will tell you if your trailer is prepped. If so, they maybe able to provide instructions for your unit.

BTW, the wiring for a rear observation camera is in my case just tapping into the circuit for the trailer running lights. They added the connector for the Furrion system which I removed since I went with a different brand. It was just a matter of connecting positive and negative wires from the trailer running light circuit to the positive and negative wiring for the camera to bring power to the camera any time the running lights were on.
