Camping Clubs

Hi All,
Newbie here! We are planning to pick up our 2016 Eagle HT 27.5 RLTS at the end of June. We will join Good Sam but are looking into other camping clubs for more ideas about where to stay and discounted rates.

Our first trip will be from Wisconsin to Wyoming and then south to Phoenix area where we live. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks! David

Welcome to JOF!
There are many many discount clubs. Look into Coast to Coast, Passport America, Good Sam club.

Websites like Allstays.com will give you options but is only a central information source.
Another resource is campgroundreviews.com

We are actually picking it up at Camping World in Indy. Then spending a few weeks in Wisconsin, and then heading to Wyoming. Very excited about the purchase and the trip!! Waited many years to find the time to do this.

Enjoy and take us along thru your posts to the forum.

Do you have a Mifi card or some method of internet access while you are on the road?

You might want to check out the good sam state samboree in the state you live. They will probably have a fall and a spring samboree that you can sign up and attend. You will meet all kinds of folks from your state plus a bunch from your neighboring states as well. You might even find a club there you would like to join up with.

Mifi by Verizon or use a smart phone with a hot spot option. Also many cg's have wifi, some is free. Then there is public wifi which can be spotty.

Another Wifi option is at Walmart. The Straight Talk ZTE 288C 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot.

DO NOT GET THE ZTE Z289G.

The 288C uses Verizon towers. No contract, decent speeds where we have used it. Our phones are Net10 and the conditions of use do not allow the phones to be used as hotspots.

The only negative is that you have to call Straight Talk and ask how much data you have left.

Straight Talk ZTE 288C LTE Mobile Hotspot - Walmart.com

We find it handy when we travel as it seems most CGs have crappy wifi.
