Howdy,

Can you post a pic or two of your new blinds? How did you patch the holes that were left from the removal of the accordion blinds?

Thanks,
Mike

Howdy,

Can you please post a link to what you ordered so I am sure I am looking at the right product?

Thanks,
Mike

I just restringed two of my blinds a few weeks ago. This is what I ordered.

Mandala Crafts Blinds String, Lift Cord Replacement from Braided Nylon for RVs, Windows, Shades, and Rollers (1.5mm, Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07LC323R7..._cpaBFbWJWRM7E

1.5mm is slightly thinner than what the factory used. This cord feels like it has a wax embedded into it too. It tends to stretch during the first few days after installing so you will probably have to tighten them once or twice. The key is to only set enough tension to hold the blinds up. There shouldn’t be much resistance when raising or lowering them.

Exact same cord I ordered. And yes the large blinds will loosen up with use. I just wrapped the cord around the spool to take up the slack.

Glad I checked into this thread, I thought the super tight blinds was normal. I'll be loosening them up now, before they break.

Lippert blinds are a pair of RV shades for my entry doors. They are an inexpensive addition to my RV but we are very pleased!

If you don't mind, what brand, size and overall cost did you face in this replacement project?
