Cargo CApacity-Is it Enough?

We are considering a 29.5BHDS-this is a 2015 model. Looking at the cargo capacity it say 1650 lbs limit. In everyone's experience is this enough?? I am worried about going over, especially when adding a bike rack on the back for our bikes.

Thoughts?

Where did you get the 1650 lbs limit from?
Was it from the sticker on the trailer or from a brochure?
If it was from the sticker on the trailer, it's a true cargo capacity starting from a dry trailer and the sticker weight probably also includes weight from full LP tanks.
If it was from a brochure, that doesn't account for any weight from options added onto the trailer.

If the 1650 lbs limit was from the trailer's sticker & included full LP tanks, I think your ok.

Rule of thumb, you could estimate cargo (i.e., camping stuff, kitchen stuff, cloths, bikes, etc. everything you would pack into the trailer & it's storage compartments) around 1,000#.
If you carry water in the hot water tank and fresh water tank, multiply the gallons by 8.3 lbs that will give your carrying water weight.
For example, if you tow with the hot water tank full (say 8 gal) and you carry 10 gal of water in your fresh water tank, that's 18 gal * 8.3 = ~150#

So a guess at cargo weight could be in the range of 1,200#, well under the 1,650 capacity limit.

The 1650 came off of the website/brochure-so in reality it is actually less than 1650 right?

1650# would not be enough for me (2 people). I need at least 2000# (mine has 2500#) and I don't carry any water/waste tanks over 1/3 full.

Then I would agree with troutslayer.

From my experience of owning both TTs and now a FW, you can load a FW with a lot more stuff then a TT.

Plus on our FW the cargo capacity dropped by ~50% from what the brochure stated and what's stated on the trailer's sticker.
The reduced cargo capacity was a result from all the options we added.

So that 1,650# capability limit could be a lot lower.

we load the 5th with about 1500# of "stuff" including 2 folding bikes.
