Cargo carrier with bike hitch recommendation

Does anyone use a cargo carrier that has an extra hitch for a bike carrier? I have seen one online, but reviews on it weren't very good. If anyone has any ideas or products they use I would appreciate a recommendation.

Personally, I would never do it. The whip effect from having the bikes hanging so far behind the rear bumper, which is itself far behind the trailer wheels, is a recipe for disaster. There are very very few bike carriers that are manufactured for use on trailers.

I would think a better option might be putting a roof rack on the truck roof with bike mounts, or there are bike mounts for in front of the 5er's cap, like the Arvika Fifth-Wheels – Quality Bike Racks for your RV | ARVIKA

I bought an aluminum one on Amazon that can be used as a cargo rack or carry 4 bikes. It does NOT shake on the hitch going down the road.

Let me know if it sounds like something you might be interested in and I will see if I can find which one it is in my receipts.

And that is the right way to do it. It is either a cargo rack or a bike rack. Hanging a bike rack off a 2nd hitch behind the cargo rack is a recipe for disaster IMO.

I just bought “Let’s Go Aero” Gear Cage FP4 and the 2-bike Rack-It.

I have no experience with it (literally just ordered it yesterday) but I wanted something I could use as both. I plan to mount the bikes on the front, right behind the trailer, and use the cargo carrier for other items.

I am trying to get rid of stuff and didn’t want a separate cargo carrier and separate bike rack.
