Cargo Carries

How many of u guys use one on the FW. Thinking about removing my bike rack and using one to move stuff to my camp this year. I know I had to get a FW rated bike carrier and figure a 500 lb cargo carrier should handle at least 200-250 with no problem. Found a neat one on amazon that is 20W x 60L and has 18 inch sides. I hate cramming the basement full and packing all I can in truck bed. Figure this would be good for my two extra propane tanks, chairs and all my wood jack pad blocks etc. Also moving 200-250 lbs to the back should make a big change on pin weight. Any thoughts on recommend carrying weight?

I got one for my 321 RSTS 5er. It's 24 x 60 and limited to 300 lbs (Jayco receiver limit) But that's 300 lbs not in the basement adding weight to the hitch pin.

Just be aware how much pitching there is at the rear of the trailer. It can be quite severe on some roads.

Even heavy stuff in the back of our trailer managed to be tossed about 6". Tie down everything really well.

Ya that bouncing can be brutal, that is why I figure half the rated 500 lbs max. I have one for the wife’s little car but it is the 1 1/4 draw bar. Do not want to chance that with an adapter.
I seen the alum one but most have no high sides. The one on amazon is a new release that also folds flat for storage. The high sides are nice and will make it easy to secure everything.
