Changing Auto Leveling Systems

I continue to be frustrated by the Atwood auto leveling system. It left me stranded yesterday, luckily at the dealership. So my question is, has anyone changed out an Atwood system and if so to which system and what did it cost.

I could live with the current system if it just had a manual override. When it decides it's not going up or down its more stubborn than a couple of mules we've had.

I know that when I priced a switch from Power Gear to Big Foot (both are hydraulic, 4 jacks) for our SENECA and Big Foot was doing the work at their factory, it was $4,000.

I believe it's around $4200 for a four pt and $4700 for a six pt . I had a six point installed this winter on a pinnacle 36REQS. Installation is cheaper in January when they are slower. The system is great it is very unlevel where I park and no problem. Two front jacks will lift 17,000 lb each and four rear will lift 12,000lb each for a total of over 80,000 lb . Shouldn't be a problem changing a tire [emoji4]

Now that Jayco doesn't use Atwood anymore, and I am not sure if anyone else does. I wonder how long they will support that system.
Ours has been working find, and I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Changing Auto Leveling Systems

I had the 6pt Bigfoot installed because of the size and didn't want any twisting of the frame .
