2021 319MLOK. Utilizes two 12v batteries up front. Noticed I had no 12v when I went to run the landing gear. Upon inspection I notice red lead cable had "fallen" out of the terminal attached to the breaker. There was some pretty little scorched marking along the wall of the battery compartment, where I can only assume an amazing light show took place before it drained the batteries dry. I say this because the cable was still touching the wall when I went to investigate. These cables should be soldered ends and never "crimp on". I can't believe the 5th grade level engineering.
Just wanted to pass along a word of caution with your batteries and connections 😉
I agree with Learjet - A proper crimp is what is needed there. I am a solder fan on the proper application but many industries prohibit solder connections because of how brittle they become.
