City/Fill water Problem

Hooked up to city water. Faucets worked, toilet flushed. All of a sudden water started coming out of the tank fill overflow. Hot water heater worked also. Can't understand why this is happening. Is there some sort of bypass? I have a 2017 Eagle HT. The city water/tank fill lever was in correct position. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes the water pump check valve fails or gets a piece of debris stick in it. Try changing system to "Normal" (tank to pump) and try flowing water for a few seconds. Then switch back and see if it still overflows. If so may have to repair or replace the pump.

Think I saved the problem. Turned a bypass valve next to water pump and water did not go to fresh water tank but only to rest of Trailer. Thanks again until the next dilemma.
