Cleaning the glass shower doors.

What do you use to clean the triple glass shower doors? Ours just won't get clean no matter what we use. Advice?

Do you have a water softener? A lot of campgrounds have very hard water.
We bought a softener couple years ago. Shower is much easier to clean.
We also wipe down shower after each shower with a shammy cloth.
It helps.

YMMV

Best move is to clean after every use. A squeegee followed by a wipedown with a microfiber cloth.
However, a good glass cleaner will get it close. Use plenty of paper towels. Then, follow up with a "magic eraser" and clean water. Another wipe with a clean microfiber cloth.. That should do it.
Works for me!

Thanks for the comments. I have considered removing them and putting up a shower curtain like Marcm157 said. But I like the doors while showering, just don't like their looks.

Depending on how bad it is, some cleaner and a razor blade to get off the thick or tough stuff. Magic Eraser to finish it off. Get it as clean as you can and then coat the crap out of it with RainX.
DONT USE THE CLEANER AND REPELLANT TWO IN ONE STUFF! It doesn't work as well as the straight up RainX water repellant. I use it on mine.
I also use it on my home glass shower door. I have to coat my home shower door about 3x a year and my home shower gets cleaned every week. It holds up pretty well.
I even use it on my home windows, outdoor glass light fixtures, obviously all the glass on all my vehicles less including the glass windows on my trailer.
I wish they sold it by the 5gal bucket!

Hard Off+ Hard Water Spot Remover. Works great. Make sure you have plenty of ventilation. You can get it on Amazon.

Both my summer and winter campgrounds have very hard water. It's just loaded with calcium/lime. I use white vinegar and a sponge with a mild scrubbing pad on it (like what you'd use on Teflon pots & pans) to clean my shower door, walls, and floor. Does a really good job and it's cheap! Have plenty of ventilation, though. The fumes can be horrible!

I like the Rain-X idea. I might have to try that myself.

rkymntsno, x2 what Brownie says. Afterwards, once clean, I put a ceramic coating on them. The same stuff you would put on your car. I use NexGen. Easy to apply and last about six months and extremely hydrophobic. I apply it to the cap on my Pinnacle and it really helps with cleaning. Just my .02 worth. SKIDAWG

This is a repeat from another thread on shower doors a month or so ago but the wife did not like the triple glass doors because they were so hard to keep clean, especially the bottom track. I yanked it out and replaced it with a Nautilus shower door with a retractable screen. Light weight and works well.

I think I got the idea from Skidawg in another thread about the NexGen on the doors. It was applied and Will let you know how it worked when we go on the first trip this season in a week or so.

But I did boookmark the Nautilus web site mentioned by F350guy on the same thread I think. I may end up doing this as well

My Boss has me well trained... We wipe down the glass with a shower door E-Cloth after evert use.. Getting the water off before it drys and leaves it's nasty residues on the glass is the trick.. Our looks clean and sparkly as the day we bought it new,... The E cloths are great, they absorb well and have some special glass cleaners imbedded in the cloth..

Mr Clean magic erasers. I have no idea whats in them or how they work but it gets our bathtub clean, our sinks clean and well....we used them to clean the entire trailer, our in house kitchen, doors and bathrooms and where ever things do not come clean easily. I have boxes of them. It works and no chemicals in the water or the environment. Happy spring cleaning.

I use a product called Hot Sauce. You can find on Amazon or most marine/boat supply stores that remove water spots.
