Clips on Screen Door

I have a 2013 Eagle Premier and noticed that there are clips on the outside of the screen door. It would appear as though these clips would hold a couple pieces of plexiglass in place for cooler weather.
I've searched through my trailer but couldn't find the screen covers and wondered if these would be part of the cool weather option package and are missing or?

I asked my dealer and you have to purchase the inserts. They were not cheap to buy, but very cheaply made. They are NOT plexi glass, but instead an aluminum frame with a 10 mil clear vinyl. They do however allow for the door to be open and keeps the cool air in. In the colder season it lets the cold air in.

We have these inserts on our screen door on our 2013 Eagle Premier. They were originally ordered for our 2011 pinnacle, but when we bought the new unit, we simply transferred them to it. I purchased them From my dealer and she had them shipped directly to my house. They were $75. Don't know if this was a good price or not, but we are very happy with them. If it is really windy outside, you will get some heat or cold air blowing in. However, we keep Our outside door open all the time. They are very quick and easy to remove Any time you want to get outside air into your unit. However, you must be very careful not to puncture the film.

We were told that they could be ordered by your dealer thru Jayco. $75 is about the price we were quoted. We opted not to get them.

Thanks for the replies. I will look into getting them from a dealer or local glass shop.

x 2. I went one step further and actually cut them to fit in my old doors inside track. I don't think the new doors have this track any longer so cut to fit in the clips.

It works great during heat and AC months to keep the unit at your desired temps. Add a set of Camco self closing springs and it's a home run. No more, "close the door please". Also keeps the dust down considerably in those unpaved CG's.
