Closet rack
Every time we travel, our clothes fall off the cloths rack in our closet and on the floor. Any suggestions to keep them on the rack to not fall off each trip?

We haven't had that problem, but one of the solutions I've read said that by alternating the hanger direction on the rod you'll will stop that problem. Certainly an inexpensive and quick thing to try. It is a common problem so I'm sure you'll hear from others and what they've done.

I had that issue in a trailer I had that had the closet in the rear. My solution was to take a dowel rod the same length as the closet rod and bungie it along the length of the closet rod when traveling. I attached the dowel by wrapping a bungie around the dowel and the closet rod, one at each end. Of course you have to remove it each time you reach a destination.

I ended up cutting a piece of 2" PVC pipe to 45" in length. I then cut it in half, lengthwise and lay it on top of the rod and hanger. Attach it with three velcro wrap straps. No clothes on floor.

I lay the clothes on the bed when driving.

IF the bar runs from curb to street side put the clothes hangers on BACKWARDS so the open end faces the closet door.. this ended the problem for me..

We've been using Stay Put Hangers... Love 'em.

Maybe one answer on why it's happening is floorplan.
Our rig is a front bedroom with little bounce up there because that area is pretty much right over the 5th wheel hitch.
Yours I believe has the bedroom/closets in the rear where there is a lot of bounce when traveling.
Just my 2cents.

Tadam this is one of the few disappointments with our FLSA, the bounce in the closet for both the clothes and washer/dryer. We had to resecure our new stackable WD twice before they could finally handle the rear bounce. As for the clothes, we have tried other ideas but I want to try Drifter1959 idea with the split 2" pvc pipe and velcro... sounds promising. Short of these small issues, we really enjoy the forward living room.
Full timers but still active duty AF, anxiously awaiting retirement travels where I have been told everyday is a Saturday
