Cold temperature camping

My 28.5 eagle ht has the insulation package and if we are towing to a destination in freezing temperatures is it ok to run the furnace going down the road ? I can't think of any other way to stop the plumbing from freezing.

I have not done it! But there have been a number of people over the years that state do it. I believe I have heard of it more commonly with MHs to keep the coach warm.

depends on how long you are in freezing temps and what that temp is ... as stated other times if you are at 20 degrees you have roughly 20 hours before the water will freeze.. if at 10 then 10 hours and so on... should be fine depending on the temps. if it is below zero then I would suggest you blow out your lines leave your trailer home and get a hotel ;o)

We run ours when traveling in cold climates ..But word of caution before fueling up shut it off..It will ignite fumes at a gas station if it kicks on.We keep the under belly warm so nothing freezes..
